The Philharmonie de Paris celebrates disco music, a true global phenomenon, born in the United States in the early 1970s, deeply rooted in the history and

culture of African Americans, inheritor of

soul, gospel, and funk. Accompanied by

a soundtrack mixed by Dimitri from Paris,

this exhibition presents a collection of audiovisual archives, photographs,

instruments, costumes, design objects,

and works of art, highlighting both the

political, festive, and artistic dimensions,

particularly among designers.
